Good stuff that actually works.
If I had a dollar for every product I've tried that failed to do the job it claims to do, well, I'd have an awful lot of money. These are products I have personally owned that get the job done. These products are personal preferences that work great for our dogs and puppies. Hopefully, they will be just as successful with you and your dog. Some will save you money, some time, and some are just great to have for the fun of it. I've made a list of these products below with their pictures and links to places you can purchase online. Also, if there's anything, in particular, you're searching for, please let me know. Happy shopping!
Dog Paw Cleaner - This simple little thing saves me so much time mopping up wet or muddy paw prints. Worth its weight in gold!
Nylabone DuraToy Happy Moppy Dog ToyI love this toy! There's lot's of different textures, patterns and pieces to keep a busy mind occupied. It's also really easy to throw because of the knot and loop on the end. Our dogs love this toy too! They play tug-of-war, fetch, and keep-away all without damage to their teeth or the toy. Made in the USA too!
Mox and Shump aren't chewers (unless you're a roll of toilet paper) so I can't say how well this may hold up for those dogs who are. I can say that they both fit on the extra large size and use it often.
This has been a lifesaver. Probably the best investment not only for the safety of our dogs but our peace of mind. The little pods that you can use indoors to keep those "counter surfers" from finishing off your dinner or keeping muddy paws off light carpet are invaluable.
Hertzko Self Cleaning Slicker Brush. The only slicker brush I've found where the pins don't get pushed in or fall out. It's really comfy to hold and is great for getting the tangles out from behind ears without pulling.
Oster A5 Turbo 2-speed Pet Clipper These days for time's sake, I take our dogs to the groomer. Before, I used these clippers. They are a bit more expensive than the average pet grooming clipper but they can't be beat for getting through a thick wavy coat with ease. They're also pretty quiet and don't have much vibration which is more soothing for a pet that's not crazy about being clipped. Another great quality is they have a wide range of metal, not plastic attachments for making a coat different lengths.
7.0in Titanium Professional Dog Grooming Scissors These grooming scissors are awesome! They stay sharp forever, are excellent quality and don't cost a fortune. Even if you use a groomer, these come in handy for those touch ups in between.
Himalayan Dog Chew Mixed Dog Treats A good friend and fellow PWD owner turned me on to these treats. They are amazing! They last a good long time, don't have any odor, and are made from all natural sources. Above all, our dogs absolutely love these chewy sticks!
Chris Christianson shampoos If you have a dog with even the tiniest bit of white fur, this shampoo is a must. I don't know how they do it but even the dingiest, dirtiest, I've been digging in the black mulch coat turns a brilliant bright white with just one application. The downside is you have to leave it on for about ten minutes. Our dogs are not big fans of this. The up side is they end up with a show ring white coat! It's the only whitening shampoo I've found that actually works, and I've tried them all.
Love the Chris Christensen products. Even if you're not showing your dog, it's still nice to have them looking their best. This shampoo does the same thing for black that "White on White" does for white. It takes the reds and browns out resulting in a beautiful deep black coat. Bring on the spotlight!
